      MARRIAGES
      Mr W. W. PULFORD AND MISS G. E. E. VAUGHAN-WILLIAMS
      The marriage took place on Saturday at St. Clement Dane's, Strand of Mr. Walter William Pulford, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Pulford, of Trencrom, Iver, Bucks. and Miss Gwendoline Evelyn Emma Vaughan-Williams, youngest daughter of Mrs. Arthur Vaughan-Williams, of Rushmore, Chesham, Bucks. The Rev J. Russel Napier and the Rev. S. E. Pulford (brother of the bridegroom), were the officiating clergy.
      The bride, who was escorted up the nave by her brother and given away by her mother, wore a medieval gown of white satin beate with a Brussels lace train. She carried a sheaf of lilies and her gold brocade train was carried by Miss Hazel Charlotte Smith and Master Stuart Greenwood. They wore picure costumes of blue satin, and the little girl had a wreath of autumn-tinted leaves in her hair and carried a Victorian posy. The only grown-up bridesmaid, Miss Nesta Vaughan-Williams the bride's sister, wore an ankle-length dress of blue velvet with a picute hat of velvet to match, and she carried a bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums. Mr. A. J. Ransford was best man ans a reception was help afterwards at the Inns of Court Mess, 10, Stone-buildings(by permission of Colonel H. D. P. Francis).

      DEATHS

      PULFORD. - On Sept. 29th, 1931 GWEDOLINE EVERLYN EMMA (Babs), the beloved wife of Walter Pulford, aged 25. Funeral St. Martin's Church, East Horsley, Surrey, tomorrow Staturday, 2.15 p.m. Memorial service St. Clement Danes, Strand, same time. Cars will meet 1.15 p.m. train from Waterloo. Flowers to Horsley Station.

      Mrs. Pulford
      Mrs. Pulford who died on Wednesday at the age of 25, was Gwendowline Evelyn Emma, the yougest daughter of Me. and Mrs. A. H. VaughaniWilliams and granddaughter of the late Loard Justice. She was married to Mr. W. W. Pulford of the Treasury, in 1929, and she leaves a son born on Tuesday. She leaves a large circle of attached friends who were drawn to her by her personel charm and unselfishness. The funeral will be as St. Martin's East Horsley, today as 2.15, and there will be a memorial service at St. Clement Danes Stand, at the same hour.
