      LITTLE WHELNETHAM

      Pecullar Accident. _ On Saturday evening, about eight o'clock, an accident resulted in a broken leg, happened to a middle-aged man namesd Alfred Pulfer residing in this parish. Pulfer had been out with his wife to Bury, having borrowed a pony and trap for the pupose. He had returned, and was getting into the trap at his own door to drive it to its owner's, when as soon as he put his foot upon the step, the pony reared up, and immediatly afterwards rolled over on to Pulfer, breaking his leg just above the ankle. He was placed in the trap, and driven to the Suffolk General Hosipital, where his injurys were attended to.
